Houcemeddine Turki is a long-term contributor to Wikimedia Projects and an open science advocate. He is currently a medical student at the University of Sfax, Tunisia. He is also a member of the Affiliations Committee at the Wikimedia Foundation and the vice-chair of Wikimedia Tunisia. His main research topic is the development of a large-scale framework for using open resources and semantic technologies for driving biomedical informatics and research evaluation at a low cost.
